The property was nice, and the staff was incredible. However, the air conditioner barely worked in the room, causing us to sweat all night. That made it kind of miserable
Pool is closed . I booked the hotel over 4 weeks ago. They decided to close the pool after my booking. I should have been notified that the pool would be closed during my stay.
It was quiet, clean and convenient. I had a bathroom fixture that had a bulb burnt out and a TV with a white line at the top other than that, it was good.

It was very inconvenient that the pool was closed. I think they did this on purpose since they knew there was a lacrosse tournament this weekend.
The included daily hot breakfast was excellent! Free bottled water upon request. One elevator was down for my entire stay. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Cleaning staff just so-so; didn't vacuum the room and only emptied wastebaskets when asked. Icky that they set up the ice bucket and glasses and the coffee maker and condiments in the BATHROOM (yuck!) but there was room to move those things into the main room. HVAC regulation was terrible. Good water pressure and hot water. We got a room with a refrigerator which was great.

My room wasn't cleaned to my satisfaction upon checking in. There were sunflower seeds left inside of the heat vent in front of the window as well as the furniture in the room needed to be cleaned of crumbs. The staff was nice upon checking in. There was a line at the desk when I went to address the lack of cleanliness of the room so I just checked out.

The sraff was wounderful. Very accommodating to our special needs. The room was spacious and comfortable.
My only negative was the pool water was on the cool side for me.
Stayed here while on a work trip. I got in late and there was long dark hair that doesn’t resemble mine on the bed. Wallpaper peeling off the walls and the oily grime on the charging dock in my room. I don’t have unrealistic expectations of a business travel oriented hotel but the rooms here are dingy and management didn’t seem to care that I had hair on my bed. Can’t fathom why this place is rated so highly on Hotels.com.
I booked through Expedia and bought the insurance should we have to cancel for some reason. My so was admitted to a hospital for viral disease. I had documented proof he was in the hospital. Expedia denied my claim. I lost my money for the hotel as well as the extra money I spent on insurance. I will never stay at a Hampton inn again!

This hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and free. That is the good news. But, the property is old and has not been updated in some time. There was no refrigerator (and yes I look in all the cabinets). The coffee maker was in the bathroom. And the bathroom had no exhaust fan. Very disappointing.
