At Hampton House I strive to offer all the comforts of home. I'm sorry you were disappointed with the unavailability of the usual overpriced snacks that some hotels offer but as I'm always trying to improve, I have decided to Implement a new policy where I will offer FREE in- room snacks to my guests as well as various coffee choices delivered to your room in the morning at a time you can specify on an order slip which you will clip on your door, also free. If you have any more suggestions on how to make Hampton House a better home away from home, shoot me a text, I'm all ears.

This guest requested to cancel (due to Covid-19). I explained to him that Covid-19 at this point is not new or unexpected, everybody knows about it and he chose to book anyways. He wanted me to waive the cancelation fee, I denied his request. This guest was sour before he stepped into my home. This guest rented a room NOT the house. I'm not sure why he thinks he is entitled to critique private areas of my home of which he did not pay for nor was he entitled to occupy. The picture he shows of the "offensive wash cloth" is the downstairs bathroom which he was not authorized to use. The toilet he claims was unflushed was in the same private bathroom which is not intended for guests who rent a room. The kitchen where he found a couple crumbs in the sink strainer again is a private area of my home in which he was not authorized to occupy. I will let future guests compare this one ""sour grapes" review to the numerous excellent reviews and come to their own conclusion.
