"I have stayed at City Lodge Bloemfontein before, and each time I have found it to be a pleasant place, very conveniently situated for my purposes. "Despite the chilly weather of Kimberley our stay was delectable, however, the facility lacks communication means with the reception whien in your room. I found myself having to leave the room to the reception to ask for an iron when it would be easy to communicate via a telephone like in other hotels. Also, the room was not thorougly clean on the carpet when we returned to sleep for the second night."

"A very special guest house. We loved our one night here and would willingly have stayed a few more nights. The welcome and ongoing service were excellent. "I booked a family unit with one double bed and two singles only go get there to one bed. The lady we called said we will have to pay extra for every person who will be sleeping in their unit. We had to fight for one more person and ended up looking for another guest house for the other two people yet we paid for the family unit."
