"Hotel near the River Clyde about 200 yards from Glasgow Central station. Our room looked on to the river and the busy railway line from the station. Good sized room and bathroom was very comfortable. Staff at check-in and at other times during our stay were most helpful.Would recommend."

"Point A is a nice boutique hotel that is convenient to the bus and train stations, Buchanan Street and some great restaurants. Point A does have a continental breakfast at an extra fee. If you like coffee first thing in the morning, it may be purchased at the front desk. The unit had USB chargers so we did not have to use our volrage converter for our cell phones and tablets. "Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Very friendly service, the hotel is comfortable and clean and the location is super convenient. The bedsheets were a little ripped and worn but very clean. There are lots of elevators/lifts so getting around the hotel is quick and easy. The rooms are well soundproofed, no loud noise from the station nextdoor. "One night stay to attend a concert so didnt really spend too much time in the hotel. We were on tbe Penthouse level which was only served by one lift which was very slow to respond. Room was very nice and modern and had a balcony which will have a great view once all the extensive construction work is completed. A bit noisy even with the window closed and despite being on the 10th floor, work starts at 7am! That aside we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return and recommend"
