"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

"Wir haben einen sehr gemütlichen, einsamen und liebevoll umsorgten Aufenthalt genießen dürfen. Die Gastgeber sind zu jeder Zeit für eine da und man geniesst gleichzeitig eine grosse Privatsphäre. Wir hatten ein eigenes TmZelt, weit ab von anderen Gästen. Die organisierte Safari war super organisiert und wir sahen viele Elefanten und assen zu Mittag (Lunchpaket) an einem weitläufigen See."

"La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. We had our best Sri Lankan cuisine in this resort, the chicken curry is full of flavours and spices. Definitely recommend...

"Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. "
