"I have never written a review like this and I take some responsibility for not having read recent reviews but this place was terrible. It is in the process of being built and not suitable for guests. Nice idea but location next to a very noisy highway and not on the water as described. The dome itself was large and bright but not very clean (other peoples rubbish under the bed and pillow cases left in the room). The plastic of the domes gave off fumes which aggravated my asthma. "Beautiful place! We enjoyed the view and played on the court and the pool too. Just plan out your trip to Cape Breton, not a lot around this place but it was awesome!"

"Stay was good. The advantage of being in town was a good bonus. The restaurant had excellent food and service. Our stay was in one of the motel rooms which were comfortable enough but are a little dated and in need of a refresh in my opinion, particularly the bathroom."

"#35 was our room. The musty smell was terrible, but it was the only room left on the Cabot trail. The room description says it’s a queen size, but it’s actually a double. The room, and surrounding property was very clean, but the place was so dated, I felt like I was back in the 70’s. It was the cheapest place around, so I guess that’s why it’s full."

"L’emplacement est merveilleux, grand site proche de plusieurs activités. La ville de Baddeck semble être très animée, et l’hôtel est très bien située. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Il y a 2 restaurants dans l’hôtel et la nourriture est excellente. Le seul point négatif est que les chambres sont plutôt simple et mal insonorisé. On peut voir que l’intérieur des chambres datent de longtemps."

"The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing....
