"I liked the view and the idea of s'mores by campfire. Property is very outdated. Furniture from 70's and worn out. Pool needs to be updated and tikihut looks ready to fall down. Amenities not open late enough and separate from property. Service at the restaurant was awful. Waited 30 minutes to be seated and it was empty. Waited 30 minutes more for drinks. Food was good though."

"The resort is absolutely lovely. It has all of the amenities a family would want for a N. GA mountain trip. We really appreciated the extra efforts Christine (restaurant) and Emily (Brassie's) provided during our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our family had things that were missing at no fault to the dining options. Christine also gave us really great tips on what we could do in the local areas. "The hosts were nice. The rooms were clean and neat. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this place and would definitely use them again."

"This place was not new. It was clean and everything worked. What they provided was ample for our overnight stay. It would have been good (not luxurious) for much longer too. It was quiet and convenient. We will book again."

"Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. "

"Beautiful place, beautiful views and very quiet. Totally enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"Very nice"

"It was beautiful and peaceful. Loved looking at the lake every morning while drinking my coffee. Couldn't ask for a better place."

"It was a good place"

"Near Splash Island"

"The property was located in a very convenient place. Nice new."

"In a word this place is awesome! The hosts provide everything you need to have a great stay. The place is immaculate, warm and cozy. Will definitely return for a longer visit."

"Everything was great. We did have a issue with the microwave that was inoperable and needs repair or replacement, otherwise it was great."
