"It's all great, as far as i'm concerned, but one has to know in advance what sort of place it is. It's a mosaic of rustic on the outside, elegant/modern on the inside, quadruplexes, with classic LPs and a turntable in the room. There's no restaurant, fitniess room, etc.. (which their website makes clear.) i loved it, It's in the heart of the village. You'll want to walk to everything, which I enjoyed. When I was there, I couldn't find a place for breakfast the Wednesday morning I left;...

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it came close to being a disaster for us. Before we stayed our first night we came close to asking to cancel our reservation. This issue is that the Beekman Arms has multiple properties so one needs to be careful when booking a room. The photos do not indicate whether the room is at the historical inn or at one of the neighboring properties close to the inn. When we checked in they directed us to a property that looked like 1980's apartments - though spacious...

"Good experience staying there. I requested early check in and that was not allowed at the time of arrival, but they were able to accommodate me by storing my bags so even though I was disappointed, I was not completely hung out to dry. The rooms are in ok shape, they keep them clean but the wear and tear is notable. Overall worth the cost and I got what I paid for. Staff was very helpful. AC was cold, parking situation was simple, no elevator, room was very clean."

After asking to have the room cleaned and being told it would be cleaned in a few minutes; it still had not been cleaned 2and a half hours later. No full length mirrors anywhere. The safe was unreachable if you were short. Some of my friends rooms did not have hot water. My friend had a mani/pedi appointment. They took her 40 minutes late. She could only have one service. Wish I had saved the money and stayed at the Marriott."
