"Jean and Mike are delightful😊! The property and home is beautiful! Her cooking and sourcing fresh foods was out of this world. "Proprietor was attentive to everyone's needs, flexible with schedules, went out of her way to create an atmosphere and provide extras which both made the visit unique. The view of the lake was stunning, the room spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to enjoy the whole house without feeling crowded, even if the weather had become unpleasant. Rooms were light and airy, artfully decorated, with good flow. We'll go out of our way to visit again."

"This is my third time staying at this property, it is super convenient to access the wineries around Hector. It’s nice to drive down to the water and sit on the dock and watch sunset. The facilities are always very clean and well-kept, kitchen was fully stocked beds are very comfortable, this is my new go to place to stay on that side of Seneca lake. "

"We loved our stay at Magnolia Place! This was the perfect place for our first trip to the Finger Lakes. The location is definitely the best you will find. Our room was well maintained and the breakfasts were amazing!! Our hosts took time each morning to check in with us and offer ideas for each day. We will definitely book again when our travels take us back to this area! "

"Very nice place and room, but we were very disappointed. We had been driving from Boston for 7 hours, and had looked forward to a good dinner in the restaurant in the evening. But the restaurant was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but no info about that from Hotels.com where we ordered the stay. The staff meant everybody knew that. Late in the evening we had to drive 9 miles each way to have some food. Not satisfied with this experience. "

"Truly Beautiful and amazing place. We loved our two night stay and would come back again and again. Loved the food from Sapalta and breakfast buffet was stellar (for purchase). The team of people working were lovely and made us feel very welcome!!! We were one of the last people to stay as it was the end of season but they never made us feel that way!"

"Our stay at the Fox and the Grapes was excellent! We throughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, the main fireplace in the great room/lobby, and fireplace in our East Lake room. This was the perfect home base for our Seneca Lake wine tour! We enjoyed meeting Guinness, the friendly B&B German shorthair pointer, who made us feel welcome as well. We will definitely be coming back! "
