"Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "

"This is a beautiful hotel right near the falls. You can't beat that view, especially in the fall. The restaurant was excellent; it is "small plates" and "large plates" and has a drink of the day you can try. Live music on Thursday but I prefer the falls. There are multiple seating areas to enjoy the falls also. They give you a voucher for breakfast at two other properties, and we enjoyed going to both. "We came to the area for a concert @ Bethel Woods which is a 20 minute drive. The Darby was a nice find, very clean, very comfortable beds and linens which is key. The room was small but well designed. They have some nice amenities such as a bar, game room, outdoor area with fire pit and chairs. The next morning we walked across the bridge to New York State and a great coffee shop, that was 900’ feet from The Darby. Recommended!"
