"The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. ...

It feels incredibly private and secluded—it seemed like there were only ~20 guests on property—so the whole experience was calm and special. "We enjoyed the fact that the property was peaceful and we had a beautiful view of the lake. As for the villa we stayed in, not so great. The furniture was old and outdated. The mattress was very old and uncomfortable. We could not get a good night's sleep because the bed was sinking in from the middle. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES. We were very disappointed, but made the best of what we believed to have over paid for. No disrespect to the staffing of this property, they were friendly....
