"The Sunderland Holiday Inn staff were wonderful. I had a bad fall at the theatre and when I got back they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially Kieran. He offered to take me to A&E but I did not want to go. He bathed my wound and found a plaster for it. I cannot remember the name of the other receptionist but she was equally as kind and helpful. "This is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. "14 June 2night stay greeted by hoist room clean parking good bed excellent hot water but slow to fill bath would have liked a bigger tv but only watched it a couple of hours over the stay met MR CASH at the second pub just a few minutes walk from our hotel made us extremely welcome good beer the customers showed us we’re to get bus into Newcastle big question would I stay hear again YES Would I recommend it.
