"Clean and updated room. Sweet staff. Quiet location with beautiful views. Loved it. Next time I will get a room with a kitchen bc there are not a lot of places to eat nearby."

"What a unique and beautiful place to stay in Skowhegan! We were able to go the restaurant in the building for dinner and walk to get coffee in town in the morning before we left. We highly recommend. The walls are a little thin so keep that in mind when there is an active community staying there."

"Highly recommend! We had a great stay! And hope to return. The Staff and Owner were fantastic! Helpful, professional & courteous. That plus a reasonable rate. You can’t go wrong. Book a stay and see for yourself. If you’re thinking about the over-rated Kasa, forget it and stay at a truly comfortable Casa. The Towne Motel. Thanks Dennis and staff."

"Our stay was one over night. The pool was closed while we were there. Property is fine. Nice views"

"Compared to many other places we've stayed in Jackman, ME, this is one of our best stays! The cabin was spacious, clean, kept up and overall held up to its expectations. What they marketed was exactly what they offered. The check in process was uncertain as we were supposed to show up to an already open cabin without having to contact anyone prior. "I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either. The place was relatively clean except for REALLY gross carpet and one thing that is inexcusable. There was rat poop in the silverware drawer and in the pots/pans. The back deck is fantastic but I would still never stay here again!"

"We made a last minute reservation and, since it was off season, we’re the only ones staying at the Inn. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make us feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Inn by the River."

"Stopped overnight here when driving from Quebec to Boston. Beautiful location and setting and the cabins were of a really high standard. Joe was friendly and helpful "
