The room itself was clean also , and the staff I did encounter was very friendly as well. Parking wasn’t bad , no complaints there . "AVOID THIS DUMP! If you're looking for an old fashion, charming, and quaint place to stay, this is not it! Instead, this place is old, dilapidated, poorly maintained and in need of major updates, if that is even possible. It's an old wooden fire trap. Despite the pictures, this is not "Bob Newhart's Vermont Inn." Instead, this place is run down. No elevator, unless you can locate a staff member to operate it, so enjoy the walk to the 4th floor. "Amazing hot pool, great staff, another marvelous stay very close to the mountain and plenty of other activities. Laundry room is clutch (coin operated machines, change available at front desk). The wife had an injury and wasn't able to navigate stairs all that well, the front desk was understanding and were kind enough to move our room to the main floor, requiring no stairs, while the elevator was being worked on. New ownership is busy making some upgrades and maintenance and hopefully the vibes...

I booked within 3 days of check-in, instructions did not get emailed until after check in time, host did answer phone when called but email was received 30 minutes later.
