"Great hotel, had good vibes, big lobby, nice restaurant and bar!! got to meet the chef and the server at the restaurant at breakfast was top-notch, will definitely be coming back for a little weekend getaway!!"

"Unfortunately, our room had a strong odor similar to mouse urine when the heater was turned on, which made our stay much less comfortable. The overall cleanliness of the room also was not what we expected. Also, there were not enough bath towels provided for everyone in our group to shower. When we requested additional towels, we were given a mix of floor mats, hand towels, and washcloths rather than bath towels. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly during our stay."

"It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. "

"While I understand this was a cheap motel, there were a few things I couldn’t get past. The exterior was horrible with tripping hazards that look to have been there for some time. The “residents”. The room looked like they had updated it but left unfinished. Missing trim. Dirty caulking. Patches on the walls. Door not closing all the way (but secure) and the bugs."

"Building is well used and construction materials and tool in various locations for possible remodel and upgrades. Lighting in the room was lacking due to bulbs needing replaced. Coffee appliance contained sheet rock dust and unusable. After the construction is completed im sure it will be a positive fit the facility."

It was my boyfriend and I and here is my list of the pros and cons of this place.Cons:There was only a bigger fridge than most hotels and a microwave but no coffee maker or iron. Upon entering,we were over taken by the smell of rank cigarette smell. The floors were wet so we assumed they had just mopped. "Me and my son stayed overnight on 6/13/26 for a baseball tournament. It was a great room at a fantastic price. I couldn’t get my tv to work, and two employees came right away to fix it. One of them made it back to my room from the office to help before I did! It has recently been remodeled and had everything we needed for a short overnight stay. Almost everything in the room was brand new! All of the staff was very kind and helpful. Don’t skip over this hotel if you’re looking in Graham."

"The decision to stay at Magpie Inn for our getaway was the absolute best decision we could have made. "This location and house are so excellent that it makes the trip. This place is so luxurious that this may as well be the object of our trip. It runs right next to the river, and enables a family to play, relax and explore for hours. We also enjoyed the games, the amenities and the location itself.
