"The manager was very helpful at first. Then when we found the toilet in our room running constantly and not able to be flushed, he became almost completely unhelpful. He acknowledged that he knew about the toilet but there was nothing he could do. Finally, when pressed he said there was one other room that he could give us with 2 queen beds. "Very good for family, good breakfast but no markers on the food items, had to ask if items contain dairy, meat, eggs etc, Clean rooms, good amenities, we missed microwave for kids milk as the cafeteria was very far away, very scenic surrounded by tall mountains, close to all good eating places and hot springs. Parking was tight and limited, Overall recommended stay."

"The person at check-in was too busy looking at their phone to acknowledge us. We finally had to ask if we needed to call the number listed on the back of the computer for help. Then gave us a hard time about checking in early when it was already 3:00, not crowded, and rooms available. Also asked if there were places to sit outside and he said no when both floors have chairs outside to look at the sights. Also outside needs some attention with dead plants or overgrown plants. "This property's management is obviously more concerned about making a buck that providing any sort of customer service. Due to a wildfire in the area, I called the day of our check-in to request a cancellation or rebook to a different date. The highway leading into Ouray was closed and law enforcement was urging people to stay away. I was told that as I booked through Expedia it was impossible to change the reservation and that they had a clear policy of no refund less than 14 days out. I...

"This is our second year staying here and we'll definitely be back again! We've been to Ouray 5 times and this is our favorite place to stay. Having a full kitchen and utensils is the best. Steve and Nova take wonderful care of the property and are always ready to assist if needed though we didnt need anything. It's so thoughtful that they provide a welcome basket and towels for the hot springs. I love having our own space AND our own deck to hang out and enjoy the view."
