"As is the case with most hotels in Europe, the air conditioning does not operate at this time of year; they fail to take into account—at the very least—those tourists who are accustomed to using it regardless of the season. The room was very basic, despite the fact that we were informed we had received a free upgrade—I would hate to have seen the most basic room."

"Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, das Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was ich benötigte. Die Lage ist zugleich wunderschön, wie beschwerlich. Mitten im Zentrum und zwischen Fußgängerzone und Fluss gelegen. Der Nachteil daran ist, dass man mit dem Auto nicht ganz ranfahren kann und sich umliegend in ein Parkhaus einmieten muss. Mit viel Gepäck ist es dann doch umständlich. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen. Das Frühstück war super und mit einer tollen Bedienung. Die Rezeption immer...

"Das Allerletze. Self check in. Parkgebühren 1 Fr/Stunde. Frühstück abartig teuer. Preis/Lesitungsverh. Unterirdisch. Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Einmal und nie wieder. "

"The property is not bad- spacious, with basic facilities including washing machine. The beds were really comfortable, towels big and clean, enough kitchen amenities etc. But there was no air-con which made evenings uncomfortable to be inside. Also, the location is a bit far from Olten and train frequency is not good."

"Das schöne war, dass die Wohnung wirklich viel Platz bietet und auch Bilder etc angenehmes Wohngefühl vermitteln. Leider war der Fußboden sehr schmutzig. Im Flur stand ein Staubsauger der nicht ging. Zum Glück war ein Besen vorhanden... Die Möbel besonders in der Küche waren alle schon älter und teils abgenutzt. Der Wasserkocher in der Küche hatte einen englischen Stecker, war also auch nicht hilfreich. Im Wohnzimmer gab es dafür einen Mehrfachstecker in den deutsche Stecker passten."

"Veel te kleine kamer, stoot je hoofd als je uit bed komt, smal bed leek wel 130 cm, geen extra stekkers zodat je ELECTRA kon gebruiken, raam kon maar 20 cm open, airco deed het niet, goed ontbijt, 16 euro voor parkeren. Met 2 gegeten voor € 225,00 met 3 biertjes en 2 wijn"

"The rooms are clean but they are a bit small. We had the family plus room and we were bumping into each other the whole time. The breakfast buffet was great and variable."

"The best view hotel in Solothurn. Suites room has the best view of Cathedral, old town and river. Same amazing view as the top floor bar, but the bar closed during summer. Parking is free outdoor in front of the hotel but limited spots. Close to the old town just walk across the bridge. I stayed on Swiss National day and could see fireworks from our room. Lounge doesn’t have much to eat or drink and has no view, we went there and got nothing as minibar in room has plenty and included in the room...
