"Stayed for 3 nights, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning, the accommodation is in a lodge, separate from the pub,we didn’t have breakfast, we had one evening meal at the pub, which was ok, although rather expensive for ordinary pub grub."

"4.5 stars my A$$.
This hotel is a joke. Hasn’t been refurbished (at least) in a decade.
Carpet floor is totally damaged with bits hanging randomly here and there. Furniture chipped everywhere.
The breakfast was miserable in look & feel.
Not even comparable to a basic Travelodge."

"Not ideal to stop and rest with children or young ones as place i dirty with bad odour from carpets. Also was noise from pub garden as we tried to rest/sleep. There was a fan on the side bed which was not wiped or cleaned.
Shower was so stiff to turn off. I asked a member of staff to help and off he went back telling us he would bring wd40 till we checked out there was nothing resolved."

"We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows.
Very dated in the decor and furnishings.
I was disappointed with the whole experience.
Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming.
Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection.
Staff were friendly."
