"The staff were wonderful, kind, and professional. They would go over and above to assist.
We were limited to 3 restaurants; 2 were a buffet style which is not my thing.
There is pool service for food and drinks.
There is no shuttle to and from the airport. A taxi, Uber or other transportation is required if you are planning on leaving the resort for an outing.
The drive to Sayulita was easy and quick. The weather was great, and there was no rip current.
10 mins from bucerias and 45 min...

"This hotel is the worst place I’ve visited; I left immediately and did not stay. Hotels.com states front desk is open daily 10am-9pm. Upon arriving, we could not determine how to get into the property, with only a large, wooden wall to stare at. The massage lady next door showed how to lift a slats to reach inside to trigger the latch. Once opened, she called someone, with whom I spoke briefly, totally unaware of my reservation. "Food and drinks were good, service was fast. Good variety of restaurants and bars. Staff overall very helpful. Resort itself is quite large so the amount of people can be overwhelming but more than sufficient amenities available to handle the amount of people there."

"The rooms are nice and spacious, very clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the bathroom is that the open door policy—I do wish there was a sliding door or something based on the design. But the Elite Club is absolutely worth paying extra for at Riu. I loved having access to the private lounge where they made an INCREDIBLE Grey Goose martini! I do wish there was an option to make a reservation for brunch or lunch, and the breakfast/room service was just OK. The restaurants, however, are...
