"Ended up here for one night (flight delayed) after staying at another hotel where paid twice the price. The wholr experience here was such a pleasant experience. At check in..offered a drink, the person checking us in..very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was bigger than previous hotel. Shower was excellent. Breakfast staff was great. Lobby area welcoming and a good place to relax after a long day. Would definitely stay here next time in Amsterdam "

"The price was nice compare to other hotels and the place was new and in good shape, but need to aware that the space was tight and the bed was a little bit tall that it would be a little challenging for elderly and kids, the washroom is quite see through. But over all the staffs were nice and the room was clean，the neighbours was quite and not far away from supermarket. It is a nice place to stay."

"About 10 minutes walk from main train station. Friendly helpful staff. Swimming pool and gym area in basement. Convenient with walking distance to many restaurants and interesting locations. Spacious room. Bed okay, hot water pressure okay. Toilet door not lockable in room. Big desk, perfect for work with laptop. Slow elevator. A bit Pricey as many other hotels in Amsterdam. "Staff was great. As others mentioned, it is a historic building in a historic area, so stairs are steep and tight, and they aren't allowed to do anything about it. Rooms were tiny but very clean. Contruction nearby started at 6:30 in morning."

"Eclectic hotel consisting of many different buildings, with a nice inner garden area. Our room was noisy, as it was in a major pathway area and had stairs inside the room. Lots of trip hazards at thresholds. Be aware most European hotels don't have stand alone showers, which requires you to climb into a rather high tub to take a shower..not many grab handles for securing.
