"Key west is a premium location and this hotel matches that expectation. The shuttle was the greatest amenity to us as parking is expensive and can be difficult to find. A couple things we were disappointed about: 1. We were on the second floor and Technically our room did have an ocean view like we wanted; however, because of the trees being so tall we did not have the view we hoped for. 2. I would have liked to have seen breakfast and parking included under the room fee. Overall we really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend this location. The staff is very helpful and kind."

"This was a perfect family-friendly vacation spot! The kids loved the pool and the lagoon! The Family Oasis room was perfect for our family! A king sized bed for Mom and Dad and bunkbeds for the kids to have their own space. The room was clean and stocked with towels, toilet paper, and bathroom essentials. We enjoyed the sunset cruise and restaurants on site, but also loved being able to venture off the resort! "

"Easy access to the small beach. Plenty of beach chairs available. Free breakfast was convenient, included omelet station, potatoes, bagels, breakfast pesto pizza, pastries, parfait, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. Lots of activities by the pools. Convenient location. Many room choices, our room was very small. Would upgrade to a bigger room with larger bathroom. Not enough room in bathroom to get ready. Overall nice stay."

"The Pier House has an excellent location to Duval Street and Mallory Square, but there are numerous opportunities for improvement overall. We enjoyed our dinner entrees on our arrival night, and then drinks at the beach bar a couple of afternoons. The seaweed is a problem everywhere, but it was not raked daily at the small sandy beachfront. Our rooms had small issues that weren’t addressed until we contacted the front desk. The elevator in my building was not working properly (door closing issues). Resort fees ($60/night) and parking fees ($40/day) can really add up. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Two near-by waterfront resorts have recently been renovated, and they are vibrant, lively and welcoming, with gorgeous Key West decor. Pier House has a much more conservative, old school, and one-note feel throughout the property. "

"The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The staff was super friendly as well. They do run a shuttle to and from the beach and Duval street. The hotel really is nice. Not much to do in the area but plenty to do at the hotel."
