There was a note on the counter with a phone number to call someone, but the number didn't work. The place looked condemned. There wasn't a single car in the parking lot. I ended up leaving and came back three times. Nobody was there. I left and booked another hotel 50 miles down the road. I want a refund. I will never prepay for a room with hotels.com again! Done!"

"No one at the hotel, AT ALL, office doors locked, lights out, no instructions, phone number, nothing. Called the hotel number listed online, no answer, no voicemail. Out of desperation we called the other hotel at this exit to see if they had a room, they didn't. In conversation, they said "oh we own that hotel too, you can check in over here" (across the highway). Same deal with icemaker and breakfast, "you can come across the highway to get ice and breakfast." We'll never get off at the Kadoka exit again..."
