"Great location, very close to DC, 1h30min and you already feel you are on a long weekend vacation. We did the Sunday brunch and we were amazed by the quantity o food we got for the price. Service was great and we enjoyed the food. After that, we checked in for our room, very spacious with a fire place and a large TV. It was raining so we went to the indoor pool, not warm enough for us but good size. Overall, it is a great location, we will definitely go back!"

"You have to bring and prepare everything yourself, as there are no amenities or equipment provided. We booked the room for two people, but only received towels for one person. When we called the staff to inform them, they asked us to go to the front desk to pick up the extra towel ourselves, even though we were already very tired from traveling. If we come back to this area again, we definitely won’t choose to stay here."

"This property is dated. Bathrooms are also tiny. Overall, it was a depressing place. However, the bed was super-comfy."

"We rented the Middleburg Cottage. Perfect set up for us. Nice living room, dining room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. Great breakfast delivered to our door. The only downside is we were there on a Sunday night. The Tavern and restaurant are closed on Sundays. Leaving us scrambling to make dinner plans. Otherwise, it was the perfect 24-hour stay."

"Came to visit for a long weekend & enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very helpful, the shuttle was easy to request, the hotel was clean & free parking! Only two negatives: -you definitely need a car to get around -the pillows are HORRIBLY flat (Left my stay with a sore neck but at least the mattress was comfortable) I would definitely stay here again... just request extra pillows next time :)"
