"I have stayed at lani kai twice before. I am always happy with my stay. Unfortunately the lani kai was hit very hard during the hurricane that hit fort meyers a few years back. They have done a great job trying to get everything rebuilt. Fort Meyers itself appears to be still working to rebuild. It appears that since the hurricane now properties stores etc have been bought up and are being rebuilt into beach homes. That makes me very sad to see. I will continue to stay at lani kai when i visit...

"The help there is wonderful. Heather at the front desk is always pleasant and efficient with taking care of anything that comes up along with local tips. Maria, who handles the breakfasts, is a delight. Always happy, helpful and cheerful with all the guests. She is someone who brightens your morning and hustles to make sure everything is running smoothly and kept full. Rooms are nice and clean."
