"Our experience at The Inn at Charles Town - Hollywood Casino was better than at another Hollywood property. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom larger than most. Would have preferred the shower to have access to the fixtures without having to step into the shower. The breakfast wasn't as substantial as others. No eggs or meat, other than hard boiled eggs. The pancake maker was either broken or old as it took forever to make one. There is a $10/day fee that covers 2...

"Staff were kind and very helpful. Location was PERFECT for and easy to get to. There was a walking path right to the historical Harpers Ferry site which was a highlight. The beds were great and heating/cooling system was too. There was no elevator and the hallways were dusty and old. The bathrooms were sub-par. The continental breakfast was lacking but expected given this was a cheaper hotel for us."

"The absolute best experience I have had at a hotel. The beds were so comfortable and the towels and products provided were top notch. The pool and hot tub was amazing and the breakfast was out of this world. The check in process was great, staff were so friendly and it was so easy to get to. I will be staying with Hampden Inn again because of this experience. Only thing that could be improved is the fan in the bathroom and the AC unit being stronger."

"This is a hard review to write. The outdoor space included with this rental is awesome - gorgeous gardens, refreshing pool, nice tiki bar area. The only downside is that route 340 is VERY close, so there is a lot of highway noise (including loud truck brakes). We nevertheless enjoyed the outdoor amenities. The apartment is a true basement; if you are over 6 feet tall you may hit your head on a couple of door jambs. And you hear quite a bit of walking noise from above. We were also frustrated...
