"We were actually pretty disappointed in our stay. It is advertised as a lodge, and there is no lodge, or common area to gather play cards, play a puzzle, socialize, etc. There is no pool or hot tub. There is an ice machine, a grill, a fire pit, and some outdoor seating. There is also a washer dryer with complementary detergent, which we did really appreciate. That was the only “amenity “that we used. We and a couple of other couples that we invited, were all extremely disappointed with the...

"The code and room # I received was wrong. Luckily there was a nice girl working there that called the owners to get the correct info. It appeared that this motel was once very popular, but now the town is dying. When I inquired about where the cafe was to get my free breakfast, I was told that it was closed. The only real restaurant in town was closed that night, so our only option was a subway at the gas station. The nice girl I spoke about before offered to bring us eggs for breakfast as...

"This place is in serious need of some upgrades.
Mattresses are very old and worn out , pillows are super stained and worn out and flat as a pancake so don’t take the pillow case off. Door had a 50 cent price size hole and didn’t fit on the door frame. I had to fold up a washcloth to stick in the door to cover the hole. Curtains are old and torn. The towels, wash cloths and hand towels are so old and are no longer even close to white.
The staff was very friendly and nice which is the only good...

"I gave this hotel a good score because the service is excellent. The only reason it doesn't get full marks is the breakfast, which is far behind every other hotel breakfast I've had.
I went down at 9am, a full hour before the 10am deadline, and there was no coffee and no orange juice left. I told the staff, but nobody seemed to care or follow up. Of course, you can call a worker over and tip them to bring you the basics — but guests shouldn't have to do that. It makes for an uncomfortable start...

"We stayed one night at the Econo Lodge in Panguitch and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The bed was genuinely comfortable — we slept great — and for an older hotel, everything was clean and well kept.
A big plus for us: it's truly pet friendly. We were traveling with our dog and had no issues at all, which made the stop easy and stress-free.
It's a no-frills, older property, but it does the important things right. We'd happily stay...
