Vents were rusted and hanging off, smoke detector was just open wires hanging, door would not close completely and the lock was henge was broken. Linens on bed were dirty. "

"Well I accidentally left my laundry basket in my room. Went to retrieve it and they had it. But someone took 3 shirts and some underwear. Dirty laundry. So there are thieves that work there. I don’t like thieves or liars. They are both"

"This is one of the best B&B's I and my wife have stayed. The walk in shower is truly amazing and has a door that opens out into the private porch area and hot tub. The breakfast is really delightful and plentiful. The hosts are great people and they will leave you in peace if that is what you want. We chose to visit with them and had pleasant conversation. We highly staying here you want peace and tranquility. It is such a lovely gem in the woods! "

"Everything was great room was clean and updated only complaint was it said it was 2 queen bed room but it had one king and one full"

"The property was being remodeled and looked like it had been for a long time. The pool had no water in it, dirty, the road leading up to property had no lights on, was dark, tv remote in room did not work, had new remote brought to room then wouldn’t turn tv off, only one trash can, building materials and buckets everywhere!! Very disappointed as the property did not match the pictures Expedia had!!! Please update this property so no one else will make this mistake and go to this run down...

"Although they may have been clean, the sheets were old and had stains. The bathroom appwaredclean, but the ceiling had damage from previous leak appeared to be dry but also had black mold on the waterstain spot of the ceiling."

"Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice."
