"Our arrival was admittedly very late - 2.30am. TV in our room did not work at all. The 24 hr Receptionist could not communicate so unable to help about the TV. Breakfast was self service Toast/Strawberry Jam and Cereals. Staff hardly any spoke English.We had to leave very early so no experience of whether the Bar was open or not. Very poor quality hotel so will not ever stay there again."

"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"On check in the gentleman was cheerful and helpful. Explained night porter service, bar and food times and where n when breakfast was with no prompts. Bar staff were cheerful and amenable. Parking was easy and plentiful. Hotel guest parking is free. Had an evening meal which was good. Bar runs a happy hour. Breakfast is continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast is prepared to order and arrived hot and perfectly cooked 5*"

"Expectations exceeded reality. Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. The windows slatted blind very dusty, corner of the bathroom by the door, grime. Black mold in the shower around the metal shelf, the shower head holder broken and loosy fitted the drooping shower head. Under the bed...

"Upon arrival, we were greeted by our lovely hosts Chris and Tina. Chris kindly showed us to our Valentina tent for our 3 day stay. The tent was beautifully appointed and had a super comfy bed. Our separate kitchen area had a basket of goodies, which we felt was such a personal touch. The llamas were amazing, roaming freely outside our tent. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented.
