"We stayed for one night. It wasn't great value for money! The room was scruffy and tired. The spa is very dated and various things were not working. The photos don't reflect the resort. The staff were all lovely especially the restaurant team. It was not what we expected which was a shame."

Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. "Beautiful place, very scenic and welcoming. Staff helpful and polite, only downside was parking was a bit of challenge on arrival (check-in time) as the golf club was very busy. Otherwise no problems and a lovely room."

"Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. "Room was clean, bed comfortable, easy to find and breakfast was nice! It was fine for one night, but there was an awful smell from the shower. The drain looked clean but unfortunately we had to sleep with the bathroom door closed and windows open! We also waited 15 mins for someone to check us in. On checkout when mentioning the smell, we were told there were known issues but no apology. At £180/night it was definitely overpriced!"
