"Stayed in this hotel for 4 night as a couple and very clean facilites and parking. Rooms were comfortable and staff are friendly. Despite slightly away from the Glasgow good value hotel with free and amble parking"

"Yes to both. Room very clean. Staff friendly. We have two concerns. The main one was that the lift wasn't working and none of the rooms were on the ground, or first, floor. We weren't warned of this beforehand. There were also steps outside down to get to the hotel part and up to get to the restaurant part. Also, we found the room very very hot overnight and couldn't do anything about it. Otherwise fine."

"Heater resets itself back to 17c so had to keep bumping it back up. A couple minor bug bites in the morning. Paid $130 for one night but a fairer price for what you get should be half that price at most."

"Looking from the outside, it doesn't seem like a hotel. But when I press the doorbell, there are staff to give advice. Very welcoming, easy to check in, go up to the room is very clean, especially the bathroom, worth the price, not far from the city centre, convenient if you rent a car, if you don't have a car."

"We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Boclair - the building is a lovely art deco style building. Very clean, great room and a lovely breakfast. The staff were all lovely and very friendly. We had a great chat with Brendan on the front desk and we would highly recommend the hotel. "

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "Couldn’t recommend this place more, perfect central location, very clean and really friendly helpful staff. Our room was perfect for everything we needed, and great value for money. Early check-in for a fee, and additional cost for breakfast. The only real downside was that were no openable windows, and the AC did not work too well, so some fresh air would’ve been perfect.
