"We love coming to the knoll house, it is clean and quirky and has a lot of history attached to it. The food is lovely. It’s very dog friendly beautiful Studland beach is across the road. It has a small pool and Swanage is five minutes drive down the road. It’s a very relaxing place to be."

"This was our third stay at Sandy Balls. The housekeeping staff work tirelessly and the units are always spotless. We have a welcome gift for our dog (which is much appreciated!) and the facilities are great on site (the restaurants and pool). Some of the other residents were not so great, but that is to be expected on any UK staycation type place - unless you have the entire place to yourself, there are always people that don't get along. "Super venue in a super location and a beautiful sea view. Room was lovely and immaculate, cleaning was impeccable and it was great to have all toiletries provided and plenty of toilet rolls which isn’t something you get everywhere. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, we even given breakfast after they’d stopped serving - Todd was a particularly favourite! Food was great and managed to get good discounts during our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"The rooms were spotless, the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the pub behind the lodge. (The Indian restaurant staff was very friendly as well, but it was Valentine's Day and we had not made a reservation, so we went to the pub.) We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there! Then we returned to the lodge for a good night's sleep. We were warm and comfortable. "

"Everything was wonderful! The location is oerfect for a stroll down to Swanage and back, access to the beach is via some steep stairs but this means its nice and quiet. The room was very clean and bathroom was wonderful with more hot water than you could ever want. Food and breakfast were good with impecable speed and incredible views. Every member of staff we came across was friendly and helpful, always happy to help and had a smile on their face."

"This hotel is located in an amazing location with Poole Harbour to one side and the sea to the other, both accessible from the hotel. The staff are polite and professional. The housekeeping is impressive. Although the building is looking a little tired, the ambience, staff members and service make up for it. Breakfast is as expected with variety on offer to cater to most dietary requirements. The dining/eating area could be made a little more attractive as the layout seems rather formal....
