"This hotel has the potential to be a brilliant place to stay but it needs a serious refurb in its current state. Arriving, the entrance and lobby were well maintained and nicely decorated however, entering the first floor you notice the office like false ceiling. This continues through the corridors and into the rooms. Loosing roughly 18 inches of ceiling height makes the rooms feel much smaller and gives quite a cheap characterless feel to the room. "My wife and I who are both in our seventh and lung cancer survivors and I had a whole knee replacement last year when we arrived we were booked in on the 3rdfloor the lift only went to the 2nd floor we had to use the stairs with our luggage to get to our room which didn't have a fridge witch my wife needed for her medication we got one after we complained it also didn't have a safe or air-conditioning on the plus side the location was perfect but it definitely was not 4 star as you advertised...

"The room was smaller than expected, but this was partly on us for booking late with limited choice, but it could have been better maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar and restaurant were very good with a nice outside seating area."

"The property is as marketed,an old building that was not built for todays customers but is trying to appeal to one and all with most facilities directed at a younger demographic,although most guests during our stay were of the older generation who appeared to be satisfied.The access to the bedrooms is a bit quirkey in that you have to take two separate lifts,the first from reception on the lower ground floor to the ground floor and then walk along the corriador to the second lift to take you up...

"The hotel was set in a beautiful garden with the beach and sea below. The view was beautiful from our room and you could hear the sea when in bed, it was so calming. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly, The food was very tasty and well presented. The garden was very relaxing with sun loungers after a day on the beach."

Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there.
