"We enjoyed the pool and driving range."

"Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!"

"My room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping were extremely kind."

"I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. "This was a cute pub with rooms to let above. Our room was on one of the top floors. It was quite tiny, but with a nice view out the tiny window and had all we needed. Staff were lovely and the bar was lovely too."

"Staff were lovely"

"Must stay!"

"Great atmosphere and friendly staff made our stay memorable. Blooms restaurant excellent. Also the good choice for breakfast with local produce very good."

"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...

"Very comfortable room, and lovely breakfast. Staff were welcoming and very helpful"

"Ideal stay.. clean rooms.. lovely polite staff..wonderful breakfast..hotel located close to coastal walks which was what we were looking for.."

"Nice walking distance to Emsworth railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. An old building which is more of an Inn than a hotel. Car park is monitored by ANPR system. Patrons of the bar must register their vehicles at the bar (cannot return in less than 2 hours). Hotel guests register when they check in - not aware of any time restrictions. No breakfast facilities available so I suggest a list of nearby cafes that can offer this being provided."
