"Great location and lively staff."

"Clean spacious flat although it's on a very busy main road. We booked it because of the garden but it was unusable because it was totally overgrown so nowhere to sit or stand. Another point I would like to make is that for safety we think there should be a hand rail on the stairs as they are quite steep and there is nothing to hold on to. Location is central to going places in the area."

"First I never got an email giving me the code to get in. I had to call to get it. Then it was hard to unlock the door to get in. Then we couldn’t ever lock the door from the outside. We struggled to lock from the inside. The bathroom was moldy. There was food in the fridge that wasn’t ours. My friend fell outside the flat because there is a step but the outside light wasn’t working. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Honey Pod. Communication and instructions before arrival were wonderful and made everything so easy. The space itself is compact but has everything you need — a cozy kitchen/lounge area, comfortable bedroom, and clean bathroom. The wood burner hot tub in the garden was such a treat, perfect for relaxing under the stars. "Good convenient hotel for seeing family nearby. Bar/restaurant fine, room good size but like everywhere little mark ups add to the overall cost such as parking up from 10 to 15 pounds."

"We had a lovely 1 night stay at The Seven Hotel in Southend. The staff were absolutely brilliant — friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely, especially the bed and bedding, which felt much better quality than most hotels we’ve stayed in. We also had a gorgeous view over the Thames Estuary.
