"Nice room, quiet location. Check in was okay. No problems until morning complimentary breakfast. Ordered breakfast at the on-site restaurant, staffed by the family that runs the property. Was asked for room number, then told I had to pay $26 for items that only added up to $19 on their posted menu. When I pointed to the statement printed on the menu that indicates every paying guest gets a complimentary entree, I was told that it only applied to some guests, since some pay more for their rooms...

"I spent 20 years traveling in third world countries and had to be adaptable to varying degrees of conditions. This by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Unlivable conditions and unacceptable standards. The smell alone will make you turn around and walk. Dirty rooms, hair everywhere, urine stains on the sheets. The property flooded a few years ago and the carpet has yet to be replaced. Stay home or sleep in your car. This place needs to be condemned."

"We didn't get down to breakfast until about 7:30 and most of it was gone. The milk was old and stale. The attendant had to bring another carton and refill the pitcher. The AC was very noisy and kept me awake most of the night. It is obviously a very old property but seems to be pretty well maintained."
