"We stayed for two nights and, unfortunately, were very disappointed with our experience. Although the room appeared to be recently renovated and looked nice, it had no balcony and the only view from the window was a brick wall, which made the room feel very closed in. After hours of running the conditioner barely cooled the room, making it uncomfortable at times. The pool was also not well maintained, with foamy scum collecting in the corners. "The cottages are nice, bed a little uncomfortable. The door to the room is stuck had to force it open not sure how that got by management and cleaning people. Pool area is nice I would recommend staying there just needs a few adjustments."

"No bathroom by pool Only one outdoor shower for all guests checking out. Pricey. Good location. Convenient yoga across from hotel on beach in AM. Great breakfast at restaurant. "Nice place for a weekend stop in Cape May. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach badges for guests out front which was very helpful. Biggest plus is the free golf cart rides to nearby locations. Drivers add a personal touch. Hotel could be updated but not a bad experience overall. Can by loud from the music at the restaurant. Fun place overall and close to the shopping spots."

"Common areas were not as clean as expected. Room: humidity filtration right above (ceiling) where i sleep. Bathroom windows shade broken and no providing enough privacy when in the bathroom. I have to use a towel to cover part of it. Humidity filtration in the bathroom ceiling as well. Bedroom door hinge loose. Doors left open at night. Icemake liking"

"Location of the property was very convenient to the beach and boardwalk . Staff very friendly . Property is old and in need of updating If your looking for convenience, this is a good option If your looking for a view or modern rooms, not your place"

"I didn't make this reservation with expedia and still after reporting that to expedia they reached out to the property for refund and they confirmed expedia team that no one showed up and but wont issue the refund. Terriable"

"Room was clean… only complaint is they need to add more decor in walls or furnishings in room it echos horribly that even a whisper sounds loud.. can also hear all the music from outside tiki bar until it Closed(stayed in room 6003). Wasnt a problem for us though! Staff was friendly, close to boardwalk, parking is convenient!! Shower is short so a tall person would barely get wet. Would stay again!"

"Stayed here with my wife and five kids. The location was perfect, the room was super clean, and the staff were very friendly. Other than not realizing there was only one bathroom for the 7 of us (my fault, not the hotels), this place was perfect."

"It’s an aging facility that is very well maintained. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the shuffle board. We had to google the rules. It’s a fun and simple game and I liked that they had it set up on the deck in the shade where we could enjoy being outside in the breeze but without being pummeled by the sun. Really appreciates the family vibe. We asked for no room service during our stay but I was grateful they left a bag of clean replacement towels outside our door."

"I stayed one night during my first trip to Cape May, and I was happy with my stay at Icona. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was so comfy, and the location was great. I would stay there again."

"Staff were very helpful and always cleaned the rooms. Rooms were big enough for 3 adults and also had free WiFi on the premises. This was also super close to the boardwalk and places to eat so we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Parking is assigned but parking is more for compact cars. We had a big SUV which made parking tight but the staff allowed us to double park. Overall will come back and stay here when I visit again."
