"Offer 24/7 coffee (cold) The breakfast was terrible. Pancake machine broken, no yogurt, toaster barely worked, no one emptying trash that was full. Small children above us 1st night that woke us up at 5 am, then fire alarm went off at 8 on 2nd night. Ice machie outside our door kept us up all night. Overall worst hotel experience for me at 50 years old...and NOT cheap! Thought since we spent a little more money it would be a good choice. Very wrong!"

"You walk into a smell that I can’t describe other than cat pee. The walk to the room was looking at dirty carpet, stains all over, and just a bad smell. Never seen any house keepers out and about to ask for supplies. Bed was VERY uncomfortable felt like springs wanted to pop through. Bed not connected sat on the end and it tipped forward. When I came to check in the guy at front didn’t greet me, he stayed counting a drawer talking to hisself and when I said hello after standing there 3 mins he...

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Also the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We didn’t use the pool but they have a nice indoor pool, WiFi, and the host at the front desk made me the most incredible cup of coffee when we checked in (I was exhausted and he could tell!) will definitely stay again when in the area."

"The staff were great and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The building, however, is a bit run down. Only one elevator was working, and it felt like it could give out at any moment. Our first room had an air conditioner that made very loud, unpleasant noises. Since we were staying for several days, we asked for a different room, and the staff quickly helped — the second room was better. We did have a toilet break during our stay, which my husband ended up fixing himself....

"It was a place to stay, staff unfriendly and as a handicapped person there was no ADA grab handles in tud almost twice getting in and out and toilet was so low I couldn't get up, there was only two towels in the room for 3 people you had to put your shoulder against the door to open it and it stuck trying to shut it"

"1st room, we had no air. 2nd room only had full beds, not enough towels but the 1 we had was dirty, facing you! Do not recommend. It's a $45 room with a $150 price tag"

"Close to downtown Marshall, Mi. About 10 minutes from Firekkeeper's Casino and Hotel. Enjoyed delicious lunch at historic Win Schuler's restaurant which I highly recommend for lunch or dinner. We did not stay for complimentary bteakfast. Room very clean but felt only 2 washcloths inadequate for two persons in the room."

"We stayed at the Hampton in Battle Creek for the weekend because we had a wedding in Marshall. It did its purpose because we were only there to sleep but the room had trash behind the nightstand from previous guests. The showers water pressure was terrible, and it barely drained. The tv stand was broken and you had to use all your might to open and shut the hotel room door."

"I liked the size of the fridge( not just a small, " under the counter" type.) The counter & kitchen sink were a nice surprise."

"The freezer section was extremely cold, and the refrigerator would not get cold, kept freezing stuff and putting it in refrigerator to keep cold. Told front desk and seemed nothing was done! We were there 3 days"
