"Property was a little dated and in need of a refurb. Coffee machine at the bar not working and they ran out of forks at breakfast. Checked in at 3pm, however, room was not ready with cleaners still cleaning the room. We were asked to go and wait in the bar for 20 minutes. No offer of a drink whilst we waited."

"We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed.
