"On our return to the hotel this time we were greeted with a warm welcome from Wellington the night receptionist who depite our late arrival was very helpful. Stewart the Manager and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel at home with every need taken care of. We will look forward to our next visit."

"We paid a premium price for a very standard room. Double bed with hard pillows. Very dated in the decor and furnishings. I was disappointed with the whole experience. Set menu for the evening was very pricy and was underwhelming. Breakfast was what saved the day, nice ingredients, great selection. Staff were friendly."

"I keep telling myself it’s cheap and cheerful, and it is to some degree.. but it has a 4* sign as you drive in, and this just isn’t the case. Rooms are run down and have needed upgrading for years. The swimming pool has been “ under maintenance” on the 3 occasions I have stayed over the years, so I just question whether it is ever open. The carpets needed hoovering in the hallways and our room. It’s a shame because the bar/ kitchen staff seem to work really hard with what they have and are...

"Just got back today sun 12th after spending 2 nights in this hotel day 1 room 307 no aircon room like a sauna got a move to 308 room a lot better thank you. Day 2 went out leaving room as we found it when we got back about 9pm room key didn't work went to reception got card sorted got back to room to find lights on wardrobe open and drawers open, someones has had a good rummage about the room nothing taken but not the point you dont expect it reported immediately to reception who said they...

"The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place."

"I don’t know how this hotel isn’t a health and safety violation in itself. Don’t get me wrong, for £50 a night I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the condition of the place was shocking. There were four separate groups of us staying there, and every single room had a large patch of mould growing above the headboard, which was quite horrifying. The taps and sinks were barely attached, our bathtub had a hole in it, and the guests next door had their door constantly open, with a strong smell of weed...
