The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The restaurants were very nice. It was great staying at the Hilton. I will definitely stay there if I have to be in Baku ever again"

"Fawlty Towers is centrally located within easy walking distance of the downtown pedestrian streets and waterfront promenade, but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The surrounding 2 blocks are rather dingy and full of dive bars. The hotel and room are clean. There was air conditioning (a big plus in Baku's heat). The free breakfast is very generous. The staff is nice and very helpful (but occasionally they have someone working who only speaks Azerbaijani and not English or Russian)....
