"It was difficult to find the hotel parking as we arrived at night, but OK once we got our bearings. The hotel room is huge, but looking a bit tired. I loved that I could have a bath, as this facility is missing in so many hotels now! Our room was on the street front so it was noisy from traffic, despite double glazing. The beds were very comfortable though and there was a good supply of tea, coffee etc but no teaspoons!"

"The breakfast was superb. We tried the evening menu special which was a Pheasant breast.It wasn't the best I've tasted, it was nicely presented but it was rather salty and dry. The bed mattress provided a good nights sleep and the room was spacious and clean. Well worth the 5 stars"

"Wonderful stay as always. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had a roast dinner and the food was outstanding. I would recommend this lovely hotel to anyone and the fact your dog is welcome too is a huge bonus. "
