"My wife and I stayed for three nights at Bartles Lodge in August 2026. We were warmly welcomed by proprieters upon arrival. The premises were clean and comfortable, we opted for a continental breakfast and the selection offered was excellent. We ate two evening meals which were hot and tasty and well presented. "The actual property is great, located down a quiet laneway. Unfortunately, we came when it was around 30 degrees C. Sleeping upstairs only exacerbated the issue. We stayed 3 nights, unfortunately again there was a party not far away with amplified band and singer (not very good) on our last night which droned on till midnight. The property is very good, although I’m 193 cm and had to constantly duck my head when going into the kitchen/meals area. Well presented, well stocked."
