We had a fabulous stay, the owner was a very friendly person who cooked our breakfast herself every morning and gave us information about cape cod and Martha’s Vineyard. 3 out of the four other guests were people who had stayed their before. It was a very special place, and we will go back.

The room was clean, the service was good, but breakfast didn’t start till 8 AM, which is a little late. Also, the coffee bar was not very well stocked. Left a little to be desired.

Lab Day weekend beach trip
The room was clean and service was very good. The breakfast was made freshly every morning. Both check-in and check-out process were simple and convenient. We would like to come back in the future.

Very cute place. My room was clean when i arrivied and i was lucky enough that it was ready when i got there, i arrived earlier than check in. The whole staff is so friendly. Every morning i had breakfast on the enclosed porch, while watching the ocean. The best part..how peaceful it is here.

Quiet, Clean & Comfortable
Easy, contactless check-in and a clean, comfortable room. We were only able to stay a short time so we didn’t take advantage of all that was offered. The private beach area is small but we really enjoyed the quiet opportunity to dip our toes in the water after a long drive. We did pay extra for an “ocean view”… we probably wouldn’t do that again because you can simply sit in the screened room or enjoy the private outdoor space and have the most beautiful view already.

Beware. There is an addition $25 a day for cleaning whether you want it or not. I did not see that or I would have never booked By The Sea Guest Suites, plus the taxes are high. The outside stairs were not swept for the two days we were there so we constantly had sand in the room on the laminate floors with no broom. I would not go back.

Only good thing is that the property is on the beach however the staff does not clean the beach area . Trash on the beach from other visitors have been there from the day one to the last day we were there. Garbage cans are full and filthy. Umbrellas are broken . Someone spiked coffee on the table at the entrance and that table has been dirty for the five days we were there . Fire pit area is very dirty , it’s a shame . No one hangs out there . Room are not being cleaned every day and if you request for the room to be cleaned they don’t really clean it it felt like they just sprayed Febrezze . That’s not right . We payed over $300 per night Breakfast is horrible cheap very poorly made with very cheap ingredients . They don’t even have milk for the coffee and if you are lucky to get fruit you get stale fruit . Owner comes every morning to talk about himself and his house in FL and his boat .. it would be nice if someone would care about cleanliness and guests for a change . If you decide to go 2 nights is more than enough . Otherwise you will be wasting your money . Hotel is better option .

Unique Cape Cod Bed &Breakfast! On the beach
What a unique and quaint find on the Cape! A beautiful antique home (we stayed in the guest house) with a very unique history (ask Erin the owner!) The staff we so friendly, the rooms were pristine (especially the bedding and towels!) And our bed was acrually very comfortable. We had a fresh hot breakfast everymorning. All night access to a coffee bar and the beach right outside our doors. We would absolutely go back. We loved that the location was right in the middle of the cape ...so we could access anypla e we wanted to go!

Very happy with room, fully equipped kitchen, quiet and only feet from the beach. This is an excellent place to bring the family. No fighting or paying to park and go to the beach, you’ll be enjoying a private beach with chairs and games.

Location was excellent This is a bed and breakfast and there was no real breakfast… very unorganized and after an hour of waiting for pancakes we had to leave as we had a tour else where.

Come for the location and the people. We had a nice stay and everyone; both the staff and the other guests are super friendly and laid back. Generally, the property has everything you need - a hearty breakfast served in a nice ocean view porch, beach towels, beach chairs, a fire pit for socializing, and a mini-fridge in the room. You'll be right on the beach (This is a Sound beach, not the Atlantic which means no waves and it's warm and some seaweed). A few minor things to note, the a/c in our room #113 was a window unit and it took me some getting used to the noise at night. I also believe you'll get a better rate if you book directly through the property, sorry Expedia! You are a short drive to Harwich Port with lots of shops and restaurants, and there are a few restaurants within walking distance from the B&B too.
