"The views of Denali were amazing! Also liked the outdoor seating areas, especially the fire pit seating and s’ mores. Unique and fun. Also the talk and video presentation by Lisa Roderick was one of the highlights of our trip! Phenomenal!! (Except for the few rude audience members who wouldn’t stop talking!)"
"We stayed here 3 nights. The views were breathtaking! Nice clean rooms and very friendly helpful staff. The shuttle runs every hour to take you to the town of Talkeetna. Lots of hiking trails on the property and nearby. I did not particularly care for the food. Need more of a variety. All in all it is a great place to stay."
"Very clean, well stocked, had everything I could possibly need, super comfy beds, warm, spacious, parking, near to Main Street of downtown Talkeetna. Met cool traveling people. We had no issues at all sharing a bathroom or one of the shower rooms at all. When I woke up the coffee was brewing and the conversation was fun! Percect for families who need many (seperate) bedrooms/beds but share sofas and a big kitchen and 8-seat kitchen table (plus counter stools). Washers inside if needed. Benches outside if needed. We had a great stay. Thank you!! "
"We enjoyed staying in such a clean, historic hotel. The queen size bed was firm and comfortable. Sharing two available bathrooms with showers was manageable because guests were cooperative. Check the concert schedule before you stay, though! Even with ear plugs provided, sleeping will be difficult when a band is playing downstairs until 1 am or later. But, the bar/dining room will be open for breakfast at 8 am in the morning with coffee!"
"The Owner was amazing. He picked us up from the train station, took us around the town to show us the locations that were open. He was accommodating to our requests and their son played in the snow with our son. This was a 5/5 experience. Would recommend to anyone. "
