I visited mid week with my sister and stayed in the Chardonnay room as it had 2 beds (trying to find accomodation in the area with 2 beds was rather challenging). It was lovely and quiet. The room was great, with big soft beds, clean linen, a heater and a clean bathroom. The shared space within the house was equally lovely with books, DVDs, lounge spaces and a pool table.
A great place for a break, a home away from home very relaxing. Lovely walks and good places to eat. Close to Hepburn Spa where we rejuvenated our tired bodies in the mineral waters.
Beautiful Hepburn Springs, hotel is very close to restaurants and to the main central road in this gorgeous town. Mineral springs are also very close and a short drive to Daylesford. Great location
My wife and I were looking for a quite homely place and found 65 Main. Upon arriving we were treated by Robyn who made us at home and showed us the run of the house. We were the only guest there for our stay but this place would be great for a group looking for a place in Dalysford.
65 Main is a Bed & Breakfast that we learnt the hard way offers breakfast only if you are staying for 2 nights. Plus you are not allowed to use the toaster in the kitchen to make yourself some toast. The sign out the front says Bed & Breakfast, the website states it is. Bed & Breakfast- but apparently somewhere in the fine print on the website ( we have yet to find it) the owner states that breakfast is only provided for customers on their second morning in the residence. The sign out the front also says that wine & cheese are provided - but no, we could not find those either. Bed was great!
I was given slot of tips prior to arriving and as she couldn't be there when I arrived I got a text to make sure I arrived okay. The room was cute and comfortable.
