The pool was down and no cushions but we were so busy exploring the island and beaches that it had no effect on our satisfaction. A great place to stay if you’re on the island. Would highly recommend for couples selling a quiet, romantic escape or groups selling a semi-private party pad. "

There is a breakfast place in the courtyard which was convenient. This hotel is across the street from the water in the heart of Frederiksted. This is not a swimming beach area, but more accessible beaches are nearby. Frederiksted is a cool town that is recovering from the last hurricane so there is a lot of work yet to be done, but we love that...

"I would have given the hotel a five star rating except for one night when the people next door to us in room 202 played music from midnight to 5 am. I tried knocking and then I texted the front desk several times and got no response either way. I told the front desk the next morning but they weren't very responsive to my ordeal. It is what it is. Other than that, the 3 night stay was very nice."

Hotels here are mainly historic / small, which keeps with the island. With that said I loved staying at this hotel. "The room was great, except we should have asked for a room on the first floor, as the stairs left us out of breath. Checking in was a breeze, front desk staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
