"The reviews I read, before booking does not accurately decribe my most recent experience. Upon check-in, the hotel appeared less maintained than pictures or reviews described on the site. The staff seemed disinterested upon check-in. Our room had a hole in the bathroom door and in the carpet, but seemed reasonably clean. Housekeeping is restricted to every 3 days, including new towels, and only 1 roll of extra TP was provided. (There were 3 occupants). During our first night stay, around 1:30...

"Bedding and pillows not good, iron terrible"

"The thing I liked the most was the front desk staff & the breakfast crew. They were all so kind & friendly. Love the room, the outside dog area and the location."

"This room was walking distance to the track. I will use this hotel for every race I go and watch."

"Front desk friendly. Room not ready 2 hours after check in time. Room we reserved not available. Staff said site had been overbooked. We were given smaller room but not compensated for change. Breakfast buffet was a pitiful joke. 2 hours before the end of service, there was no hot food and limited other choices. We had to send out to nearby restaurant for breakfast"

"Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were outdated and bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. It was a good stay for the night though."

"Dee was excellent at checking. Also kind explaining heat/air when I was confused. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, it was one of the best supplied, cleanest breakfast I have encountered in recent years. I expressed my appreciation to Robin in the breakfast area as we watched her clean, stock and restock while we ate. Morning front desk attendants were also helpful providing a forgotten toothbrush and paste. This was one of the best overnight stay we have enjoyed in quite some time!"

"The staff was great. We really enjoyed our room. It was right on the water and the restaurant on site kept us from having to leave at all."

"We liked the ping pong table; we specifically chose this hotel for the fireplace in the common space lobby area, however upon check in, we were told by the clerk that the fireplace had not worked since she had been working there. Upon entering the room from a chilly evening, the room was freezing as the ceiling fan was on & the air conditioning was set to 60 degrees; we suspected this was an attempt to mask the reeking smell of cat urine in the entry way; it did not work. On the second night I...

"We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room and everything was perfect. The bathroom was roomy as well as the room. Plenty of room for extra medical equipment if needed. And my favorite part the beds were low enough to transfer from wheelchair. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. L P"

"Elevator was broken, the hotel and room smells bad and had a dirty appearance. One of the towels had a hair in it. My door didn't lock, only the chain lock was working, I've asked the staff and got no answer, had to confirm with another customer if his room's lock would work and it did, so my room was the problem. Breakfast is poor and after breakfast hours there is only hot water available, no cold water was available to buy. I wouldn't choose this hotel again."

"First impression was like the photos on line. The property looked nice and rather new. Upon going to our room, we were impressed with the courtyard, the seating and the grills they were available. That all ended when we opened the door to room 205. It was nasty!! The smell hit us as soon as we opened the door. Looking around the room was really disgusting. The walls are all marked up, dead spider in a web in the corner of the ceiling, stains on the walls, the door handle on the bathroom door...

"I really didnt want to write this but I feel it’s necessary. I stayed at the comfort suites for 3 days for my wife’s birthday. For her birthday i decorated the room which involved me moving the tv stand, under the tv stand was a used condom wrapper. I have the image i can email. I also discovered a geek bar vape underneath the couch. Being that its a non smoking hotel that was a little confusing. I left my number with the front desk & been asking for days now to be contacted."
