This place is unsafe to stay cracked on the floor and walls are visible. Very noisy construction inside and outside of the building.

Hello there RONALD VINCEE.We ask for your patience and understanding about the ongoing renovation works for our hotel. This is for us to have a fresher look. About the cracks, these are masonry cracks (non structural) we are treating. Meaning they look like big cracks, yes, but actually they used to be thin and others hairline cracks, we had to have them grinded so we can put epoxy injection in preparation for our hotel's renovation repainting for a fresher look.We hope to see you again soon.Respectfully, Daffodil Martinez-Bahani, CGSPHotel Manager

I stayed for 6 days. The good - The staff was awesome! Very friendly, were there to answer questions and to advise me on local events. Everyone spoke english well. The hotel and the room were clean.
The not so good - The rooms are fairly small. Like they are really just for sleeping. If you want to do anything besides shower and sleep.. you're going to find it challenging. A few days I had to do remote work from the room and it wasnt very suitable. There is no table or chairs .. just the bed. the only other thing...I saw someone else mentioned this .. the shower tiles were squishy like they had standing water under them...and no shower door so the water from the shower goes all over the bathroom floor. Oh and the honking from the traffic .. wait at 3 am there was no traffic...but still the honking.

Our room's toilet and bath has been designed purposely so that the door can be swung fully to cover and close the shower area while you take your shower. Small rooms, not A/C controls, no door to shower so water gets everywhere. Price does not match what you get elsewhere.

The ACU control is located near the keycard pwer insertion. Our room's toilet and bath has been designed purposely so that the door can be swung fully to cover and close the shower area while you take your shower. They gave us a card to use the elevator and room only one card shut off everything in the room my wife and i had to leave together and return together otherwise no ac or lights also no eating in the room then the earthquake and we were stuck on the 8th floor i wont go back

The room is a typical size for a budget hotel in Europe or the US and for the price and location near a mall, convience store, and a pizza place. Its great! The room also had a good tv that worked well which i haven't seen often in the Philippines. Definitely recommended as a place to go if you want to stay in Davao and sleep in a clean and convenient place.
rooms is like you are in the boarding house and toilets are disgusting with yellowish and stains. limited parking space and they prioritize it for employees not for clients. breakfast is not a buffet just a plate with 1 cup of rice and 1 viand. and its in a cafe next to it that maybe they partner with and charge for extra rice and milk in your coffee coz they only give free sugar and cream. not a place to recommend.

The room was adequate for a solo traveler like me. The bathroom does need work. The tiles in my shower releases water when stepped on. That means there's stagnant water underneath from taking a shower the day/night before.

The red planet in Davao is a good hotel for the price. Decent mattress and it's clean. The soap dispensers are broken which I experienced in many different red planet hotels. Seem to be too hard to hotel customers to treat those in a correct manner. Not much dining options around there but the next SM is only a few minutes away from.the hotel by taxi.

I stayed at Red Planet two weeks earlier when I landed in Davao after a long trip from Saskatchewan, Canada. I was impressed by the over-all condition of the property, the cleanliness, the efficiency of the staff and the availability of hot water. This particular trip is the first leg of my return trip to Canada and again I am impressed with Red Planet. Because of my positive experience in Davao I booked the Red Planet for my overnight stay at Cebu.

No towels,went down,they were delayed from laundry. Second time in shower,then i found there was no soap in the damaged dispenser. Also no mat to avoid water on floor outside bathroom. A bit to much too organize,though quickly fixed. Impression: overprized

Check in and check out by the front desk is very efficient.
Cold aircon. Good pressure and warm water. Free extra pillows.
The bed is annoyingly noisy. It makes a sound even on a little movement.
Parking is limited.
Room facing the road is quite noisy.
You can hear the vehicles and even singing in videoke.
