This is a very unique property. If you’re headed to see Monastery Ostrog, we highly recommend this hotel. Very convenient. The staff and the meals were excellent. However, the drive up the mountain is not for the faint hearted.

QUIET, true relaxation at the top of the mountains away from the tourist. This is an AMAZING little family owned hotel. Clearly they invested a lot of money in the right areas, excellent new windows and doors. The restaurant is fantastic. Great service and fantantic food. Run away from the noisy tourist areas and STAY HERE at least for a night with great dinner.

Awesome views near Ostrog Monastery

Helpful staff, hotel was so neat and new. View was great. For visiting Ostrog Monastery this is the perfect location. Parking was great. Breakfast was on the menu and you were able to choose only one thing included, but bread, coffee and pastry was included.

The views around this hotel are to die for. It’s close to the monastery that even if you wanted to walk it’s possible. After spending a night at the upper monastery it took an hour to get back to the hotel. You just have to be mindful of the cars around those sharp curves. The restaurant upstairs is excellent and food was very tasty. Over all stay was exceptional, thanks to the front desk manager Alexandra. Thank you!

We liked everything about our stay at Hotel Sokoline. The views from the room and the restaurant are breathtaking. The room is comfortable and thoughtfully laid out. The free breakfast was generous and tasty. They brought us treats in addition to what we ordered. The dinner at the restaurant was also good. The front desk allowed us early check-in and arranged a taxi for us to the Ostrog Monastery.

Less than 5 miles from Ostrog Monastery. Located on main road. Fabulous views out over canyon. Parking right in front of room. Rated 3.5-4.0*, which seems accurate. Room is simple and functional. We got "panoramic view" room. Room is large enough. Desk and 2 chairs. Lighting is limited. Restaurant on top floor (2 floor hotel). Food was mixed but generally good. Very large portions. Staff is friendly and helpful. Seems like the obvious place to stay if visiting the monastery. Recommended.

Ze spreken bijna allemaal goed engels. Netheid en verblijf van 4 nachten waren super. Het is een klein familiebedrijf de rust is heerlijk monestery is op 5 min afstand met de auto. Geografische ligging is het beste je kan vanuit hier binnen een uur rijden bijna overal zijn in Montenegro.

Sehr gutes 4 Sterne Hotel in Montenegro

Freundlicher Empfang. Wer es braucht, es wird englisch geredet. Da Internet sehr gut ist, geht aber auch ein Übersetzer im Handy oder eine Bekannte spricht in Deutsch mit dir übers Handy. Zimmer sehr schön. Balkon mit top Aussicht. Heizung geht an wenn es Abends kühler wird.Bad alles vorhanden und mit Heizung. Mückengitter vor Fenster. Restaurant mit guter Auswahl und aufmerksamen Kellnern. Preise gehoben 4 Sterne Hotel mäßig. Die Aussicht vom Restaurant ist auch sehr schön, auch vom Innenraum. Anbindung in nächste Stadt ca. 12 Km. Kloster um die Ecke. Sehr ruhig. Fazit empfehle das Hotel. Nicht 4 Sterne Standart Deutschland aber für Montenegro sehr gut.
