"Everything was perfect!! I had always wanted to stay in a Scottish castle and this one was perfect and just outside the city. We drove about 10 minutes to the train station with free parking and then it’s about a 10 minute train ride to Edinburgh. The rooms were very cute and spacious. The food was outstanding! We did afternoon tea with a view of the garden and could not have asked for a better experience."

"We spent one night on our way to the airport. Two things to note: the hotel is right beside a very busy train track. If you are a light sleeper, then you should absolutely bring earplugs.
Secondly, it costs 15 pounds to park overnight as the car park is privately operated. It's the first time I experience that, and given the price we paid for the hotel for one night I found it usurious. It is also not disclosed until after you book."

"A very well thought out and highly functional design perfect for those traveling to and from the Edinburgh airport. It's quite a walk though with a lot of luggage - especially in inclement weather. Perhaps the three hotels right beside each other could arrange to share a shuttle service to and from the airport."

"I liked the restaurant/bar area with lovely views over Edinburgh. Free parking is great and a great bust service to most places. A nice walk into the centre and The Castle. 20 mins walk to Morningside/Bruntsfield where there are lovely places to eat, have coffee/cocktails.
Downside are the rooms, which are very tired and in need of renovation. I believe this is going to happen.

"The room was clean and tidy , but the carpets were a little tired. That being said the bed and linen were of excellent condition. The breakfast was a very high standard and you wanted for noting.
