Loved the location and affordability of the hotel. The on-the- go food options were a smart & convenient setup. The size & design/aesthetic of the rooms were incredible! A few small details of the room were mini bothers but nothing I couldn't get past. For example, the light switch setup was odd, the bathroom lights were linked to the main room lights, I could see that being a problem if 2 people are staying in a room and one needs the bathroom in the middle of the night. There was also a pipe on the ceiling over in the corner that was slowly leaking a tiny water puddle onto the carpet, but it was out of the way and not super noticeable. Overall a great place to stay, I'd seek out Aloft again.

We reserved 3 rooms for our family while in town for a wedding. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Nice lobby, nice rooms, comfortable beds. No complaints about anything. Really appreciated the snack bar when we returned to the hotel after the reception. Would recommend and definitely would stay there again.

Only thing I didn’t like was how LOUD the music was Saturday FEB 10 evening when I checked in, was like I walking into a rave, not a hotel. Was very glad I was on the 8th floor so didn’t hear it once elevator passed 3rd floor. Pity those on the 2nd floor trying to sleep.

Great Lobby Vibe with amazing amenities! Service was seamless. The room was rather interesting. First glance walking in I’m met with a huge structural pole right by the door that you can play hide and seek around. Remote to the TV was working half the time, toilet wasn’t flushing at some point but just had to hold the lever down, couple cracks and damage in the bed frame / decor around the room and some of the outlets weren’t working even with turning accessory switches on (if they were switches for the outlets). One odd part about the layout was the bathroom being behind the bedroom area, however the only way I was able to turn the bathroom lights on was to turn the switch on which is right next to the room door. Overall, I feel that it may have just been my own room and not every room may be the same. If you’re looking for a convenient, downtown city - centered hotel with a cool vibe then it’s definitely a spot to consider!

It’s great. Clean, friendly. And Easy to communicate with. There’s no room service if that’s your thing. Just beware ahead of time.

The hotel has a musky smell when you walk in and in the rooms. The front desk was friendly and courteous. I ordered a quesadilla from the restaurant and it was inedible. Luckily, the front desk did not charge me for it. I would not recommend for families. It’s more for business travelers.

HORRIBLE stay would give 0 stars if I could. Had a cheerleading group come to hotel and 4 young girls stayed in the room next to mine banging on the walls from 10pm - 2:30am and I had to be at the airport at 5 then to work. I spoke to the front desk and they had 0 solutions to fix anything. All they could say was sorry and offered me a free breakfast in the morning which I declined.

The room was spacious and clean! Customer service was excellent! They had a New Year’s Eve party and we watched the fireworks from the front door! We most definitely will be back.

Cool Hotel, Recommended!
Cool hotel. Great location, room and amenities. Staff was very helpful too. It was super easy to walk to many areas in downtown. Honestly, very impressed and pleased. The only thing I’d have to “complain” is that the heat/ac in our room was a little loud but no big deal at all.

This location was great what we needed it for a football game. The hotel was clean and small with a bar that opens up at night. The front desk ppl was great. Will stay again

Good Stay
Such a cute little modern hotel in a great location AND dog friendly?! Check in was seamless and the evening front desk guy was so kind. Unfortunately, the next morning during checkout there was a different guy who wasn’t as friendly and took away from the 5 star experience.

The staff were friendly and fun to talk to. The only thing getting oriented with the unique layout. Liked it’s quirkiness but as an example looked for a bathroom on the first floor two or three times before finding it.

Property was a great value. Great location and parking is phenomenal. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Don’t pass on this hotel if you are looking to stay downtown and on a budget.

The first person to greet me!
The Aloft Downtown Dallas was the best part of my trip back home. I loved the eclectic style of the hotel. The best part was the young lady who greeted me as I checked in on Christmas afternoon at 3pm. She dressed festively, and was informative, kind, so helpful, and just a real pleasure to communicate with, in our current world and society. Because of this pleasant young woman, I will be back to Aloft Downtown Dallas.
