Despite a low price this place was a disappointment. Cleanliness was a major issue, we could probably have lived with the dirty floors that had clearly not been mopped before our arrival, and the filthy oily windows, but also drinking cups put out for us weren't clean, and most shockingly the microwave was full of mould! This didn't bode well.
Although our apartment was nice and large, it was not well thought through. For example, the hot water tank was too small and so not once during the stay did we get a hot shower. Another example is the "kitchenette", the hobs and microwave might have been useful, but no pots and pans were provided rendering them useless.
In line with the above, breakfast was pretty shocking and again badly thought through - not only was it served outdoors, but right next to a water feature - so unsurprisingly all the food was covered in flies. This didn't seem to perturb the staff at all.
Service was pretty patchy. We were surprised to be turned down by the grumpy night manager when we asked for a second key to the room (important, as the key has to be in the slot not only for the electrics but also the hot water...). We figured we'd ask someone else in the morning... turned out to be hotel policy that you're only allowed one key! Never encountered this in my life. Also, when I reported the faulty (crackling and dripping) air con on arrival the staff just laughed at me.
It's also very noisy due to a bar nearby.
